To be held on Sunday 22nd September near Bideford , Devon
We are running a simulated shoot training day for both spaniels and retrievers in cover crops and woodland.
The aim of the day will be to familiarise your dogs with the sounds and atmosphere of a driven shoot day.
We will be in 2 teams :
> The beaters going through the cover with all the sounds of the flags, whistles and gun shot.
> The picking up team spaced out behind the guns to recover the dummies, cold game and remain steady to the shooting.
We will be using both dummies and cold game with placed, thrown and dummies fired from a launcher.
Starting at 10am with a break for lunch at midday and then some more drives in the afternoon.
The cost of the day will be £20 and you will need to bring your own packed lunch.
