Welcome to the North Devon working Gundog Club

At the North Devon Working Gundog Club we are always happy to welcome new members and we would like to give all encouragement to anybody, young or not so young, who would like to learn or improve their gundog handling skills.

The club runs training courses for new handlers during the summer months for the less experienced and a full programme of working tests and field trials for the more experienced handler.

Lesley Oldham
On Tuesday 15th October we had the very sad news that one of our vice-presidents, Mr Lesley Oldham has sadly passed away.
For those of you that did not know Les, he was well known in the local shooting community and has been a wonderful supporter of the club for many years, with his help shooting at field trials and promoting the club at local shows.
Les was instrumental in the setting up of the Countryside Pursuits area at the North Devon Show, which he ran for many years with the club doing gundog demos in the arena.
At this very sad time all our thoughts are with Les’s wife and family.
