Two in a row
We all said ‘we can’t have another day like last year, can we’? The answer unfortunately was that ‘yes, we could’ – it rained all day once again for our BBQ and fun test day at the end of the summer training programme. Of course, the dogs didn’t mind but it was a test of endurance for the handlers but they all managed to keep smiling.
The day finished with a super BBQ with enough food donated to provide lunch and supper as well.
Congratulations to all for their fortitude, just about everyone completed the tests, and particularly to those who went home with rosettes and bags of food from our sponsors, Skinners. And a special mention for Lesley and Julie Adams who were awarded the progress cups for spaniel and retriever handlers, respectively.
