The Club Spaniel team put in a first rate performance at the Sherbourne Country Fair on May Bank Holiday Monday to take second place, out of the seven competing teams, and only just be beaten by the Bristol and West Gundog Society’s team by a single point. Our team was (left to right) Eric Smith with Nederscot Spinner, Jeff Ayres with Miskinfern Mac and Ann Kedward with her Cocker Tautavel Kirsty at Sanaigmore.
Congratulations to the Bristol and West team, we will be after you next year, and particularly their captain Paddy Williams who also gained the award for ‘top dog’ with his Springer bitch Brockfern Breeze.
A very enjoyable day for all involved and a tremendous effort by all the volunteers who run the Fair and raise large amounts of money for charity.
