Sunday 22nd September 2019 – Simulated Shoot Day
Venue – Abbotsham by kind invitation of Mr & Mrs Lomas.
We held our simulated shoot day, again this year we had a good number of members taking part in both the beating line and in the picking up team. We did 3 drives in cover crops and grass fields, the drives ending with cold game for the beating team to collect and we used cold game, winged dummies and dummies from a launcher to test the steadiness and marking of the picking up team.
We finished with a well-earned cup of tea and some cake back in the yard to complete a good days training.
We would like to thank all the helpers for giving up their time to ensure it was a great day for everyone.
